History of the area

Caption: The Fire Station building on St. George's Road was converted in to 16 flats in 1988. It once housed fire fighters and their families.The Association’s area of operation stretches from Dundasvale in Glasgow’s city centre outwards, along the Forth and Clyde Canal towards Ruchill and the North West.

It covers some of the city’s most historic sites and evidence of its industrial heritage can be seen across the area.
