New director joins Queens Cross

New director picQueens Cross Housing Association is delighted to announce the appointment of a new director of Property, Enterprise and Regeneration.

Rona Anderson joins the Executive Team after 12 years with Loretto Housing Association. Rona brings with her a wealth of development and regeneration experience built up over a 25 year career and has worked at a senior level for a number of social landlords across Glasgow.

The appointment comes on the back of a senior management reorganisation at Queens Cross which, aims to better deliver Business Plan goals over the next three years.

This new post been created to maximise the opportunities for enterprise and regeneration in north west Glasgow, while ensuring the high standards of repairs and maintenance are maintained and further developed. 

It brings with it a budget of £60 million for developing new housing opportunities.

Rona said she was looking forward to providing strategic direction across the association’s regeneration and property divisions.

‘I’m thrilled to be taking up the Director of Property role within Queens Cross at a challenging and exciting time for the association.  Queens Cross has long been a leader in the social housing sector, with its reputation built on delivering excellent property services and tangible regeneration outcomes for its communities,’ she said.

‘Over the next three years the association aims to deliver 600 high quality new homes, which is a major challenge.  But while a great deal of effort will be put into building these new communities, Queens Cross will also be investing in, and regenerating, it’s existing communities.  I’ll be working hard to ensure the association is able deliver on all of our improvement plans for new and existing customers alike.’
