In January 2014 the Association began developing housing on the site of the old Shaw & McInnes iron foundry on Panmure Gate. The site, at the Nolly Brig, overlooks the Firhill Basin on the Glasgow branch of the Forth & Clyde Canal. The development is known as Timber Basin, after a historic use of the canal adjacent to the site.
Funding was approved by Glasgow City Council to provide 108 flats and houses. 63 flats and 10 houses for rent from the Association, with the remaining 35 sold as New Supply Shared Equity. (NSSE)
The development is now fully complete.
