Bin hubs

New bins hubs are being installed in some Queens Cross areas, replacing back court and pavement area bins.

What are bin hubs?

Bin hubs are heavy-duty, on-street communal waste and recycling stations placed on street outside flats and tenements which are shared use between residents.

Why are bin hubs being introduced?

The introduction of bin hubs is part of a wider effort to modernise waste collection and address longstanding issues like missed collections, rodent issues, crew safety and backcourt access.

How often will rubbish be collected?

Recycling and general waste collections will be more frequent - general waste will be
collected every four days and recycling every eight days.

When will my bin be collected?

You can view when your bins will be emptied here.
