50th anniversary Gala Day success for Queens Cross

Over 2,300 visitors enjoyed a day of fun and games at our 50th anniversary Gala Day. 

Our annual event - popular with local residents - featured fairground rides, live music and entertainment, craft stalls, games and activities, an outdoor market and much more. 

This year's Gala Day was a special one for the Association as it marked 50 years since its inception in 1976. 

Jamie Ballantine, Social Regeneration manager at Queens Cross, said: 

"The event was buzzing: filled with smiles, laughter and a fantastic community spirit, and we have already received lots of positive comments from those who came along.

"Thanks to everyone who came along and made it a great day."
