Litter Picking

Community members in the Woodside area carry out weekly litter picks  to tackle litter hotspots, helping to improve the area.

Taking part in this activity gets people outdoors meeting new folks chatting, doing a bit of light exercise and making a difference in the places they live, so there are wellbeing benefits attached as well as keeping our neighbourhoods looking better.

This work is carried out independatly of QCHA. If litter picking interests you, you can fill in this form with Glasgow City Council to become a Neighbourhood Improvement Volunteer NIV Application Form (glasgow.gov.uk) Joining will give you access to litter pickers and support to begin litter picking action in Glasgow.
