Growing Spaces - Gardening Drop-in Sessions Group

We provide Gardening Group drop-in sessions throughout the season to organise and coordinate tasks. We have group sessions at Woodside Garden, Dundasvale Garden and Wester Common garden sites depending on jobs needing done.

People who attend our drop-in sessions can join our Whatsapp group to keep up to date with what we are doing week to week.

We have a polytunnal and communal growing areas at Woodside Garden and Dundasvale Garden and Wester Common Courtyard Garden which are tended to by these weekly drop-in sessions, led by a qualified gardening tutor.

10am - 12pm - The Courtyard Garden

12.30 - 2.30pm - Dundasvale Garden (sessions currently paused due to works on the site).

3pm - 5pm - Woodside Garden (temporarily starting at 1-3pm until Dundasvale Garden works are complete).

There are many tasks to do throughout the growing season. We welcome people to come along and get involved to help. Please get in touch if you can spare some time to come along or if you would like to learn more about growing vegetables and plants from seed.

We also have raised bed plots at Woodside Garden which are taken by local people year to year. If you are interested in being put on the short waiting list for a plot then also do get in touch.
