Hamiltonhill enabling works started

The Association is delighted to announce that the development at Hamiltonhill has started with enabling works beginning on Monday 2 March 2020.

Enabling works have started at Hamiltonhill

The enabling works cover all vacant land north of Stonyhurst Street. The work will clear the site and prepare the ground for housebuilding. It will be carried out by leading infrastructure firm Robertson and is expected to be completed in autumn 2020.

The ground works may create a level of disruption for local residents, but we will try to keep this to a minimum.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation in this matter which will allow us to complete the development works at Hamiltonhill as quickly as possible.

Hamiltonhill housing update

A tender process for the first phase of housebuilding is expected to be completed by summer 2020, with housebuilding to begin in late 2020. The first phase will be around 200 properties, in a variety of house types providing homes for both social rent and private sale.

The first phase will take two to three years to complete before progressing to other parts of the neighbourhood.

The project will create 600 homes in total - 300 affordable homes for rent and a further 300 new build homes for sale.
