Get moving for Garscube

Local landmarks Forth and Clyde CanalThe Garscube Community Foundation are hosting a sponsored walk, Sunday 21 May, to raise vital funding.

The walk will take place from 1-3pm from Firhill Basin to Ruchill Parish Church.

Individuals or community groups are invited to take part and help raise funds.

If you’re taking part as a community group, 20% of funds raised goes to Garscube Community Foundation – your group keeps the rest!

What is the Garscube Community Foundation?

The Garscube Community Foundation is a registered charity. They have a long history of community work in the Queens Cross area. They’ve awarded grants to a number of community projects, from local football teams to funding clothes for job interviews.


SaraSara’s story

Sara, a tenant with CHYP, received a life-changing grant from the Garscube Community Foundation back in 2015.

A talented, classically-trained pianist, Sara didn’t have her own instrument to practice on.
