The annual five-mile running event takes place in Kelvingrove Park on Saturday, August 19.
Whether you’re a keen runner or a mild enthusiast, this picturesque course – which encapsulates Glasgow’s image as the ‘dear green place’ - is designed with everyone in mind.
Starting at the famous Kelvingrove Bandstand, the scenic route takes you around the park and onto the popular Kelvin Walkway.
Prizes will be awarded in various different categories, and there will live music and a cake stand awaiting you at the finish.
The event is designed to encourage LGBT participation in sport. Glasgow FrontRunners, the running group organising the event, is a leader in raising awareness for the lack of LGBT involvement in sport.
The five-mile challenge takes place on the same weekend as Pride Scotland, with frontrunners from all over the UK travelling up to take part in both events.
The group are looking to build on their previous success with OUTrun as they launch the campaign for a third straight year. With 500 spaces up for grabs, it’s hoped more runners will compete this year than ever before.
Queens Cross is a proud sponsor of the event, with a few of our staff giving it a go!
Registration for the event closes on 30 July 2017.
