Chief Executive recognised as Scottish Housing leader
Our Chief Executive, Shona Stephen, has been recognised today as one of the top 30 leaders in the Scottish Housing sector.
The article highlighted Shona, who has been Chief Executive at Queens Cross since 2011, for her hard work in social housing and her fight to tackle homelessness.
“I am proud and delighted to be included in the inaugural list of Scottish Leaders in Housing published today by Inside Housing,” Shona said.
“It is a recognition of the fabulous team we have at Queens Cross who are always working hard to improve and innovate and are such a great support to me as Chief Executive.
“This list is the first of its kind compiled by Inside Housing, and gives exposure to those who are leading and driving progress in the Scottish Housing sector.
“From integration with health and social care, to tackling homelessness, improving the quality and security of private rented homes and building much-needed social homes and other tenures, this article highlights the invaluable work that is being carried out by housing leaders throughout Scotland."
Shona added: “Over the last 32 years I have been passionate in advocating the role of social housing in health and social care, as well as a consistent spokeswoman for its impact in tackling homelessness, poverty and driving regeneration. I hope that the combined strength of those on this list will push these messages further.”
